Who I am
I am Marius, 22, a university student from Germany. Since childhood I have been lucky to be able to see the world beyond daily life and was in the position to travel with my parents for many years. Once I moved out and started my own life in a new city with my own goals and responsibilities, I still had the passion for travelling in me. The thing I realized pretty quickly though was, in order to keep doing what I love I had to adapt. Seeing new places with a lot of money is easy, but quite hard, when there is no big budget available. Through time I discovered more and more tips and tricks that helped me make budget travelling simpler, more efficient and a bit more comfortable. The longest I had been travelling so far was a one year trip in 2024/2025 with my girlfriend around Europe, North Africa and Asia and it will definitely not have been my last adventure.
What I can do for you
With this blog, I want to share my knowledge and my experiences about the places I travelled to with you. I realized pretty fast, that the further you get from major destinations and into areas that have far less tourists and tourism infrastructure in place, that information can be hard to come by. That is why on my blog, you will not find your average „what to do in (city) for x days“ post, but rather see topics that I think need more coverage and that can actually be a tool for improving someones next trip
